Easter Week: MOTD

Hey guys!
Today I wanted to share a little look that I did inspired by Easter! It reminds me a lot of how I used to do my makeup and it felt a bit like a blast from the past wearing it, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I wanted to wear pastels and bright colours because nothing screams Easter quite like that. It is autumn in Australia so the colours are a bit off trend at the moment but makeup is makeup and you can wear it whenever, there are no rules. Now that I’ve sufficiently gone on a tangent, let me share my Easter look with you and hopefully give you a little bit of inspiration for your own looks this week!

Project Pan Finale!

Hey guys!

We are FINALLY at the end of my first ever Project Pan! It’s been a long couple of months and I’ve learnt a heck of a lot from it, but I’ll talk about that a bit later. I know it’s only been two week’s since the last update but in this post, I’m going to show you a comparison of what my products looked like at the start of the project and then at the end of the project, to see just how far I’ve come! I hope that you enjoy!

How Much is My Face Worth?

Hey guys!

I always wonder if I lost all of my makeup and I needed to buy my every day face again, how much would I be set back? I don’t wear too many high end products so at least it wouldn’t be TOO bad but it is still interesting to find out. Hopefully I’ll never actually be in this situation hahaha. I hope that you enjoy!

Project Pan!

Hey guys!

As I said in my last post, I’m looking to downsize my collection and work through my non-cruelty-free items. While I’ve been on my cruelty-free journey, I’ve stopped buying so much makeup because I’m overwhelmed by what I have and cruelty-free stuff is just less readily available, honestly. I’ve been watching a lot of project pan, declutter and minimalism videos so I’ve been really inspired to go through my makeup, get rid of what I don’t like and use up what I need to use up before it goes bad. I’ve decided that I’m going to do my first project pan and this is going to be the introduction post where I show you the products and why I want to work through them!

‘Round and ’round like a horse on a Carousell

Hey guys!

Today, I’m going to be talking about an app that I think everyone who hoards things needs. I collect a lot of makeup and part of that is because I love it and part of it is because I want to talk about new things on my blog a lot but lately I’ve been watching A LOT of project pans, declutter, and minimalism videos on YouTube and I’ve become inspired to downsize my collection a bit. Especially with my Journey to Cruelty-Free. I’d originally been using Depop to try to sell some things but I never made much from it so I found a new app called Carousell and within the last week I made over $100+ so I just HAD to talk about it with you. This post isn’t sponsored, it’s just a friendly suggestion to those who want to make money and turn trash into treasure!

Journey to Cruelty Free #1

Hey guys!

So, since becoming vegetarian, I really wanted to think about the makeup and skincare that I was using. I know that being a vegetarian doesn’t eliminate all of the cruelty involved in my eating habits but in the effort to minimise the hurt that I’m creating, I wanted to try to start using majority cruelty free products. I’m not doing this to make myself better than anyone else. This is just a personal preference that I believe aligns with my personal beliefs.

I plan on making this a sort of series where I update you all on my progress and my planning. In this post, I am going to identify what brands in my collection are cruelty free and to what degree they are cruelty free (brand doesn’t test/sell in China, parent company doesn’t sell in China, vegan). A lot of brands don’t test but their parent company sells to countries (China) where it is law to test on animals, so you’re still more or less buying into cruelty. I hope that this is helpful, I am only including brands that I personally use so this isn’t everything that is cruelty free by any means. This is already going to be the longest post ever haha. I hope that you enjoy the post!
