Hey guys!

Today I wanted to share a few of the bits and pieces that I received from LUSH’s Mother’s Day collection! I received this as PR and I really like a lot of this collection so I’m excited to share it with you! This collection is available now until Mother’s Day so if you like any of these items, make sure you purchase them soon!

Mask of the Month: Sukin Oil-Balancing Charcoal Mask

Hey guys!

Today I’m sharing the first of my new monthly mask review series! I briefly talked about this during the Priceline 40% off sale, where I stocked up a little bit on a few masks for this series. I wanted to start with the Sukin one because I was already using other products from the Oil Balancing range and I thought it’d be good to try them all out at once and really see how I liked it! I hope that you enjoy the post!

Soaps That You Need In Your Life

Hey guys!

I love finding soaps that I just adore. I don’t really have a particular type of soap that I go for but I do tend to reach more more natural, earthy scents rather than super duper sweet scents (I’m lookin at you, Snow Fairy). I thought it would be good to share a few soaps from brands that you may never have heard of but you totally need. I hope that you enjoy this post!

Holiday Gifts for $50 and Under!

Hey guys!

Like I said in the $10 and Under post and $25 and Under post, December is basically holiday month, I thought that I’d like to do a little bit of a series on gifts that you could purchase for others or yourself. These gifts will be suitable for Kris Kringle, Secret Santa, etc. and then of course just little gifts with your friends if you’re giving small gifts or you’re on a budget. This will also be the last post of the little series of holiday gift ideas! I’ve had a lot of fun researching things that are available for the holidays and talking about things that I think would make fantastic presents 🙂

gifts under 50

As I said in the last two posts, many of the gifts that I’ll share will be bath related mainly because it is a universal gift. Everyone deserves to pamper themselves and relax, not just women, so don’t be afraid to give these to anyone.

The first gift that I want to talk about is the Baylis & Harding Skin Spa Gown Set*
This set is super exciting to me! It retails for $30 at Big W and it comes WITH A GOWN. You can’t get more ‘at home spa day’ than your own white dressing gown and some special bathing creams and things. I have never owned a bath robe so I was so excited to put it on and basically wore it for the rest of the day after receiving it. The set also comes with a shower cleanser, foot soak crystals and body cream in lime, basil and sage scent, and a hand and body lotion in verbena and chamomile. This set has scents that I wouldn’t immediately be drawn to but I definitely enjoy the scents. It was a bit of a surprise that I like them as much as I did. They’re very relaxing scents and sage, especially, is very mentally cleansing. This set would be a fantastic way for your friend, family member or yourself to feel really special and relaxed.

The second gift that I wanted to talk about is the card game Marrying Mr. Darcy. I received this from my boyfriend for our second anniversary and I think it’s $50 at most board game shops in Australia. I love Jane Austen and this game is so fun. If you’re into board games and card games, this is right up your alley. You play as one of the Bennet sisters or other central female characters and you’re trying to marry your best match. So if you were Elizabeth, you’d try to marry Darcy or if you were Jane, you’d try to marry Bingley, and so on. You can also mess up someone else’s match by marrying their match before they can but you can risk becoming an Old Maid by doing that. Sometimes you can still win the game if that happens but you have to be very crafty haha.

9bd0457b77ea7393240404228d8ab75b

The third gift(s) that I want to talk about is the Grinch Gift Pack from Oh Deer Sugar! This set has some gorgeous treats in it that are exclusive to their Christmas collection. This pack will set you back $47.50 and is the cheapest of the gift packs. All of the other gift packs are near $50 but they’re too far over for them to be featured in this post but I would still highly recommend them! I love Oh Deer Sugar so much and I would love for them to get more and more attention because they’re still growing and I just really want them to be successful haha.

9bd0457b77ea7393240404228d8ab75b

The fourth gift that I wanted to talk about is LUSH’s Charity Pot! Not only is this a fantastic product but you’re basically giving a gift that also donates money to a grass roots charity that LUSH is supporting. I absolutely love everything that the Charity Pot is about. If I could hug this idea, I would because I just have so much love for this and I think everyone needs to buy Charity Pot because you’re donating money and you get a product back for it. This retails for $32.50.

9bd0457b77ea7393240404228d8ab75b

The fifth gift that I wanted to talk about is the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks! They retail for $29 at Rouche Boutique and they’re pretty much my most favourite liquid lipstick, with the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks a close second. There are so many beautiful and fun colours that I’d recommend to anyone. The range pretty much has something for everyone which is pretty awesome and provided you know your gift recipients style, you shouldn’t have too much trouble picking one of these for them or yourself!

9bd0457b77ea7393240404228d8ab75b

And lastly, I wanted to talk about the Harry Potter and Star Wars colouring books! I only have the Harry Potter one pictured here but they’re around the same price if you go to the right places. The Star Wars one is $15 at Big W and $35 at Zing, so just shop around so that you find the best deal. The Harry Potter one is no more than $20 at Big W or Kmart, I’m not sure where I found it. They’re both fantastic colouring books if you love either of those things, and even if you don’t, there are plenty of colouring books and I’d recommend them all. They’re fantastic to relieve stress because you stop focusing on all of the things you need to do and just focus in on colouring in your favourite characters.

Holiday Gifts for $25 and Under!

Hey guys!

Like I said in the $10 and Under post, December is basically holiday month, I thought that I’d like to do a little bit of a series on gifts that you could purchase for others or yourself. These gifts will be suitable for Kris Kringle, Secret Santa, etc. and then of course just little gifts with your friends if you’re giving small gifts or you’re on a budget. There are so many gifts that I want to talk about and I am just so ready to help you with some gifts!

gifts under 25

As I said in the last post, many of the gifts that I’ll share will be bath related mainly because it is a universal gift. Everyone deserves to pamper themselves and relax, not just women, so don’t be afraid to give these to anyone.

The first gift that I want to talk about is the Baylis & Harding Royale Bouquet Ultimate Luxury Gift Set*
This set is available at Big W and is $20, which is pretty good value for the amount of products that you’re getting in the set! You get a body wash, a bath creme, and a soap that is black raspberry and fig scented, and a shower creme and bath soak crystals that are peach, poppy and vanilla scented! You also get a polisher but I’m not entirely sure what that does so I have not used it yet haha. If you know what to do with it, I’d love some guidance! All of the products smell really gorgeous and you will definitely feel very pampered after using this set!

9bd0457b77ea7393240404228d8ab75b

The second gift that I wanted to talk about is the Australis Mini Velourlips set. You can find this set at Priceline for $14.95 and I believe that there are three different sets, light, dark, bold. I love the Australis Velour lips and this gift pack is a great way to try 5 different colours. If you like the colour, you can go and buy the full sized one when you’re finished with the mini! The mini is also great for travel because they fit right into little bag pockets or your clutch when you’re out.

9bd0457b77ea7393240404228d8ab75b

The third gift(s) that I want to talk about is the Shower Moose and Body Scrub from Oh Deer Sugar! I love these products and the Christmas collection is especially nice if you or your gift recipient love Christmas smells! The Body Scrub retails for $19.50 and the Shower Moose retails for $22 and they last quite a long time, especially if you are using them as more of a treat than an everyday thing. Although I’ll admit, I treat myself to these items every day because I need a little pick-me-up very often haha.

9bd0457b77ea7393240404228d8ab75b

The fourth gift that I wanted to talk about is the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Duo, which is $19.95 at Priceline. While you’re pampering yourself, give your nails some spice with the Sally Hansen Gel Nail Duo! I love the Sally Hansen Gel polishes and this set is a really great deal if you don’t already have the gel top coat.

9bd0457b77ea7393240404228d8ab75b

The fourth gift that I wanted to talk about is the LUSH Mask of Magnaminty! Masks are fantastic ways to treat your skin and this one is particularly good. This one is self-preserving so it lasts longer than the fresh face masks. It retails for $13.95 in the small pot or $25.95 in the large pot. So technically the large pot doesn’t fit into this post but if you could spare an extra dollar on getting someone a good gift, then this one is really good and good to get in either size!

Lush Christmas Goodies!

Hey Guys!

I know I’ve spoken with you about how much I love LUSH’s Christmas releases but I thought I’d share with you again because LUSH were kind enough to send me a little box of goodies, which came perfectly timed now that my intensive course is over and I actually have the time to relax and use these! I’m also going to be making a gift guide in the very near future and I’ll probably feature some of these items in there!

pink-divider-no-background-md

12309071_10153543967397530_585048601_n

I was so excited when I got my package from LUSH. As I’ve mentioned before, I die over the LUSH Christmas stuff and so I died again when I received this package. I have used two of these items before, Snow Fairy (a favourite) and Star Dust, I’m so happy to have back-ups of these because I go through them like I have an endless supply of both money and LUSH goodies (I don’t). So, let’s talk about some of these products.

Snow Fairy is my most favourite body wash from LUSH. I purchase a bottle every year and pray that it lasts until the next Christmas release! It is a candyfloss flavoured shower gel that has little shimmers in it. I haven’t noticed the shimmers on my skin so if you’re worried about that happening, fear not! It is very sweet smelling and can cause candyfloss headaches so maybe use in moderation if you know you could go into a candy induced coma very easily haha.

A product that I’ve never used before is First Snow. It is a sparkling dusting powder and gosh is it sparkly. It is described as a ‘twinkling powder that leaves your skin looking as if it’s been kissed by frosty snowflakes’ and I think that is such a romantic description. When I tried it out, I was so happy with it. I love sparkles (duh) so this product just seemed like it was made for me! I remember one time that I went into LUSH and one of the girls was starting to show it to me and she goes ‘wait what am I saying, I know you know what it is!’ Do I go into LUSH too often? Probably. I know that I’ll be putting some of this on me tomorrow for my Disneybounding Birthday party! I can’t wait to share that with you guys on Monday!

Star Dust is such a gorgeous little bath bomb. It is shimmery, like a star, and the smell is so relaxing. The scents in this bath bomb are ‘Fair Trade Ugandan Vanilla and Peruvian Rosewood’ DIVINE. This makes the bath feel very luxurious, a perfect way to wind down and relax after long hard days of work/study/being awesome. You definitely deserve the star treatment 😉

And finally, Bar Humbug bubble bar! I haven’t used this one before either, and I actually STILL haven’t used a bubble bar from LUSH despite having bought Holly Go Lightly on my last spend. I just haven’t found the time since I bought it, I guess! I was very excited to receive this product because I LOVE Licorice and this bar smells of aniseed, like a humbug. At the start of the tale, Scrooge and I would have absolutely nothing in common. However, by the end, I think that I would say we are Christmas-loving, kindred spirits, so I’ll indulge in this bubble bar and think of Scrooge, Tiny Tim and sing “It Feels Like Christmas” from the Muppet’s adaption of the classic story. ILY Scrooge ❤ (kinda)

A huge thank you to LUSH for sending me this gorgeous box of goodies! I couldn’t be more grateful. I hope that everyone is having a really great day and if you’re feeling like you need a little pick me up, LUSH’s Christmas range has got you sorted!

Review: Oh Deer Sugar Christmas Exclusives

Hi guys!

Today, I wanted to share with you a few pieces from the Oh Deer Sugar Christmas Collection. They have started making a few different collections for the holidays and I thought that it would be a great time to share them here now with Christmas coming so quickly! Any of the products in this store would make great Christmas presents or Kris Kringle gifts. I hope that you enjoy the post 🙂

pink-divider-no-background-md

Here are a few of the pieces that I picked up. I almost bought everything in the same scent because I was just so excited when I went into the store. Two of the items are relatively new to both myself and the store. They recently came out with a shower mousse (or shower moose haha) and a sugar, body scrub!

12226641_10153519875192530_676259218_n

(OH) Rocky Road might just be my favourite from the Christmas line. I absolutely adore the smell of it and when I used it in the shower, a little bit of product went a long way. When you massage the product into the skin in the shower, it lathers up quite a lot and it makes your shower smell like vanilla ice cream or marshmallows. I know that a few of my friends will really love this product. There are so many scents available, you’ll surely be able to find on that you like. I believe that this product is $17-19 AUD. I think it is well worth the price.

12231215_10153519874712530_1044334684_n

I absolutely love the smell of (OH) Gingerbread. As I’ve mentioned here before, I just love cinnamon and if you too love cinnamon, you need this product. I’ve used a shower scrub from LUSH before and this formula is very similar. The LUSH one feels a lot like a slushy in texture but this one feels less watery and more scrubby. You wont need very much of this product either and your skin will feel silky and soft after you’ve used it. This product was also around $17-19 AUD.
12243921_10153519875027530_512628210_n

(OH) Candy Cane was the first thing that I spotted as I walked into Oh Deer Sugar. I actually missed the Rocky Road stand and grabbed the Candy Cane section first. Good thing that I did though, otherwise I might have ended up with everything Rocky Road scented haha. This smells similar to the fruity-minty candy cane scent that some candy canes have. I’m not the biggest fan of the soaps but I do like them for special occasions because they tend to run out quickly but the smell is worth it. I am going to save this for when I finish my degree in two weeks 🙂

pink-divider-no-background-md

I hope that you’re all having a great day and you might go and have a little look at what Oh Deer Sugar are doing for Christmas. They still have some of the Halloween goodies in store so if you were wanting any of that, I’d pick it up soon!
