Best Colourful Palettes

Hi guys, gals, and non-binary pals!

Today is a big day for Australians, at 10AM AEST, the results of the Same-Sex Marriage Survey were announced with 61.6% of participating Australians voting YES! We’ve been told that we will have a new legislation regarding marriage before Christmas and it is a very exciting time. To celebrate, I’ve chosen to talk about my favourite colourful eyeshadow palettes, because you’re definitely going to need one now hahaha.

MOTD: Lughnasadh/Lammas

Hey guys!

Today and tomorrow, people across the Southern Hemisphere are celebrating Lughnasadh (Lammas), which celebrates the first harvest after the full moon! To celebrate, I’ve created a little MOTD and I’m also sharing something extra special at the end of the post! I really hope that you enjoy this excuse to celebrate a seasonal holiday!

Products Used:

Kat Von D Monarch Palette
Sleek Ultra Mattes V1 – yellow shade
ELF Baked Highlight in Moonlight Pearls
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Stockholm
Physicians Formula Bronze Booster
NYX Blush in Taupe
Milani Rose Powder Blush in Romantic Rose

I really wanted to use warm shades but specifically yellow because this time of year is all about wheat and Lammas essentially means ‘bread day’. In simpler times, by the time Lammas came around, people were really rationing what they had left of their food and Lughnasadh was a big feast time because it was the first harvest. The holiday represents abundance and the last rays of warm sun. We still have a bit of warm sun to go in Australia but definitely by Mabon, we will be feeling the cool weather! To celebrate the season, I did a bit of shopping and you bet I filmed some of it haha. I haven’t filmed anything in ages and this was really terrible so please excuse me but if you’d like to just hear my voice and see where I live, this will be the perfect video for you hahaha.
