March Empties

Hi guys, gals, and non-binary pals!

Today I’m here to talk about this past month’s empties! I really fell out of blogging this month but I’m definitely starting to feel that passion for writing again, so fingers crossed, I can start posting much more frequently, like I had been doing for the past four years! I have a lot less products this month compared to previous months but there are a lot of products that

Review: LUSH Caca Rouge, Henna Hair Colour

Hi guys, gals, and non-binary pals!

I’ve been wanting to look after my hair more, recently, and one of the ways that I’ve chosen to do that is to stop using permanent hair dye, because I know that the build up of all of the boxed dyes was really doing a number on my hair. For the last three months, I’ve not touched my hair, except to try and lift some of the dye off of it with a hair dye remover. Originally my plan was to lighten it as much as I could to try and get it back to the original colour but I’ve since been swayed otherwise and have decided to keep trying to dye my hair a copper tone, because I think that’s the colour that I like best against my skin. I was going into LUSH for a present and while I was there, I decided to pick up one of their henna dyes to try and dye my hair with. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever used and I really wanted to talk about it as an alternative to traditional hair dyes! I hope that you enjoy!

October Empties

Hi guys, gals and non-binary pals!

It’s that time again where we need to take out the trash. I moved through quite a bit of products this month, using up some of the products that I use every day and also removing some of the products that I knew I was never going to actually use again. I hope that you enjoy this post!

Hair-O-Scope? A Horoscope for your hair?

A ‘do that’s on point can make the difference between a good or bad day

Even though I own a plethora of wigs, I do dye my hair fairly frequently. I also really love quizzes and finding things that suit me or suit my personality (yeah, I’m one of those people who post a lot of quizzes on Facebook). A brand that combines those two loves is Madison Reed. I recently discovered this brand and I thought that it was worth talking about on my blog because I thought that some of you would get a kick out of this.

Madison Reed have a quiz on their website that helps you find the perfect shade for the hair that you are trying to achieve. You can take the quiz here! Not only do they have a quiz to find the perfect shade but they also have something called a Hair-O-Scope. A horoscope for your hair! I don’t read into horoscopes very much but I like those little tumblr posts that show which character you are from a series or whatever, based on your horoscope so I was pretty interested to see what my Hair-O-Scope was!

Scorpio

Here is my Hair-O-Scope!

Scorpio (October 23 – November 22)
Mysterious and misunderstood, you’re drawn to uncover the hidden meaning in everything. You have a natural power and intensity that people find intriguing. Underneath it all, we know you’re secretly a sensitive Scorpio.

Invite the world in by brightening up your hair color, a little or a lot. You’ll still have people wondering about you as you go about your day looking ravishing. On days when you feel more reserved, tie hair into a loose braid and pair with that trademark enigmatic smile.

I love this! I think it is so cute and a great way to get some ideas if you’re stuck in a bit of a hair-rut. If you want to read your Hair-O-Scope, you can find it here!

Madison Reed is a really cool company because you can purchase a single box of your perfect shade or you can have boxes delivered to you every time you want to dye your hair and you can set how soon you’ll need your new box of hair dye. And you can even ask for more dye if you have longer hair and you don’t have to pay double!

I’d encourage all of you to check them out, even if you’re just on the website to check out your Hair-O-Scope or to see what your perfect shade is.

I hope that you are all having a wonderful day!
